Alice Stallard is a contemporary British artist, VJ Girl in a T-shirt and cross platform community art facilitator. Her artwork centres around playful narratives, adventure and observation. Employing a combination of digital and tactile processes, Alice draws, paints and layers found and hand-coloured papers, hand-drawn images, photographs, magazine cuttings and everyday ephemera to create moving image, limited edition prints, mixed media originals, illustrations and cross-platform AV art forms, both independently and as collaborations. Alice studied art at Brighton University (BA Hons), Norwich School of Art and Design (MFA) and University of London, Goldsmiths (PGCE Art). Her work is held in both national and international private collections. Notable commissions and exhibitions include selection for Chelsea Arts Club Chelsea Hospital group show, London 2024; AV artwork for Woodbridge Festival Winter Lights ON, Tide Mill, Suffolk 2023; ING Discerning Eye exhibition, The Mall Galleries, London 2022; The Peggy Jean commission for the Daisy Green Collection x Ackerman Studios 2022; 45 Park Lane, London curated by Ackerman Studios 2021; Gate Curate, London commissioned by Gate Theatre, CHELSEA space and Chelsea Arts Club Trust; Winter Pride UK Art Awards, London and Print Club London.

Alice is also a qualified and experienced art teacher and alongside studio projects, programmes and delivers culture-led community outreach projects. Current roles include Chair and Art coordinator for Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music; Choose Love and Projections for Peace; 2022/23/24: Fish Friendly Fireworks Open Call for Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music (shortlisted for the East Suffolk ‘Green Impact Award’ 2023); Anchors Aweigh! art trail and Summer sessions; Woodbridge Festival Windrush 75 events; occasional lecturer for University of Suffolk. Alice has also enjoyed working with Suffolk Artlink Brave Artists programme for neurodivergent adults; creating art-led early years play sessions for Creative Play Project, Jetty Lane; creating online and download content for Cohere Arts and NHS Creative Space program for patients with long-Covid. Previous clients include: Tate Britain, South Bank Family Centre and Chelsea Arts Club.
